About Me

I am a 27-year-old corporate droid by day, wannabe-writer by night. I enjoy cereal, Pinot Grigio, and making dated SNL references, in that order.

  1. You’re much cuter than Kim Kardashia. Plus, you seem like you’ve got your shit together. She’s a train wreck!
Thanks so much for popping over to my blog. I’ve learned that the best part of blogging is discovering other blogs. I’m so glad you found mine because not I get to enjoy yours.

  2. I am passing along the The Versatile Blogger Award to you. I have created a permanent page for this award. Please reference the link for the rules.

You can pick up your badge at:

This is a award given to special blogs deserving attention. I hope you will have time to participate, but as always it is entirely your option.

    Miss D

  3. You’re more talented than Kim K can ever dream of being in terms of writing and utilizing the creativity that you dish out (Kimmy Kard, the hell kind of creativity does she even have, anyway?). Oh, and yeah, I’d rather look at you than Kim. Saw enough of her whenever ESPN would prattle on about Reggie Bush.

Whatever you do, if you one day find yourself in a reality show, be sure to devise a plan to get all the Kardashian shows out of everybody’s way in the journey. I know, you might find those shows entertaining, but you’ll be everybody’s — including mine — heroine in the process of doing that!

Oh yeah, and keep rocking the purple ‘do. It’s straight money!

    • Who put you up to this??? And what do I owe them? Jokes- thank you so much for your comment! After watching a few episodes of Kim and Kourtney take New York this season, even I’m getting fed up with my beloved Kim and her vacuousness…. I just might have to take your advice and devise a plan to usurp her of her role as the queen of reality tv. I can’t possibly think of a better use for my time and energy.

  4. Thank you for checking out my blog–I’m so glad that I was able to find yours! This is fantastic and scary at the same time, mainly because while reading through your posts I feel like you’ve read my mind while I’m commuting to work, trying not to get on the elevator with other people to avoid small talk and being a “wannabe-corporate-professional.” I look forward to reading your posts!

  5. Love your camel life post. please check out my illustrated journal:
It’s all about elevating – or, at least, observing and commenting on the mundane.

  8. thanks for stopping by my pages–i think you are a woman after my own heart your fascination with blue eyes is hilarious..don’t even thinking about skipping out on your ‘brown eyed girl status’ –blue eyes are fabulous but brown eyed girls rock.

  9. Okay…. I’m going to try not to get too gushy, but you are – without a doubt – my favourite blogger. I’ve followed you (first from our family blog) since early in the year when you were FP’ed for your vegetarian post. I’ve nominated you for a Sunshine Award on my blog. Feel free to do with it what you will. Take care!

  10. Hey Lifes-a-BreezyK, I didn’t nominate you for an award this time but I did acknowledge that YOU had the most viewed post on my blog this past year; # 1 You beat me at my own blog! If you want to accept your Congeniality award check out my blog. Congrats superstar! …and thanks!

  11. I’ve tagged you for a Very Inspiring Blogger Award. As my nephew used to say when he opened a Christmas gift he already owned, “Double!” If you’ve had your fill of these, feel free to ignore and know you are loved.

  12. I get the feeling you don’t participate in the whole award thing and I get it. I nominated you for one if you ever change your mind. Hope this finds you on a day when the gym let you keep all your belongings! :)

  15. You’re funny, I get the feeling that I’m going to get a lot of entertainment from your blog. While I don’t know why any one would go thru the trouble of looking like KK, I’ll be checking in to see the process. Hopefully when you’re at 80, which is probably perfect, she won’t be at phase 160… don’t want Kim K turning out like ‘Lil Kim.

  16. Hahaha I love this blog! I find that everything you write is just so relatable – I mean to your sense of humour haha LOVE THIS! :) xxx

  17. Reading your blog has inspired me to continue writing, so I’ve nominated you for a Very Inspiring Blogger Award! It’s ok if you don’t want to “play”! :-)
The rules for receiving this award are:
    1. Display the award logo on your blog.
    2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
    3. State 7 things about yourself.
    4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for this award and link to them.
    5. Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the award’s requirements.

      • Last thing I wanted to do after being in front of a computer screen for most of the day was to be writing at night. No, that’s not quite true. I wanted to. But it was like my brain wasn’t functioning. I’m just curious about how other writers manage.

  18. Found you by way of Ben’s Bitter Blog.

This is the third or fourth excellent blog I’ve found in the past few days to be written by a Canadian. Damnit, you guys are smarter up north! Our government HAS been lying about you guys, I knew it!!

  19. Great blog – forget how I found it: one of those random things they call serendipity I think (i have no strategy for surfing wordpress – am I alone in this?) . ‘The Camel Life’? Still puzzling that one out! Used to smoke Camels a long time ago but that was before we all gave up and found healthier things to do to ourselves instead. Anyway, great stuff.
